Maintenance & Commissioning

Planned preventive maintenance, protection testing, and commissioning services for LV, MV, and HV electrical installations.

MIG operates a dedicated commissioning and maintenance division staffed by licensed electrical engineers with experience on IEC-standard equipment from all major manufacturers. Services are available under annual service contracts or on a per-call basis.
Preventive maintenance programmes include: thermographic surveys of switchgear and distribution boards, insulation-resistance and dielectric-absorption testing, protection relay calibration and injection testing, circuit-breaker timing and contact-resistance measurements, oil analysis for power transformers, and earthing system continuity checks.
Commissioning services cover full factory acceptance testing (FAT) witnessed at our facility, site acceptance testing (SAT) after installation, protection setting verification, interlocking checks, load testing, and production of commissioning records accepted by network operators and regulatory bodies.
Emergency breakdown cover is offered as an add-on to maintenance contracts, with a 4-hour response target for critical installations. All site personnel hold valid permits to work and operate under a documented safe-system-of-work procedure.
