About MIG 23

MIG 23 is a Bulgarian electrical engineering company founded in 2005 in Sofia. With over two decades of operation, we have established ourselves as a leading manufacturer of complete packaged transformer substations (КТП) — both concrete and metal — as well as electrical switchboards and distribution panels, and as a trusted partner for electricity distribution companies, industry, and renewable energy investors across Bulgaria and the Balkans.

Our core business is the design, manufacture, and construction of electrical infrastructure. We operate our own manufacturing and R&D base for LV and MV equipment, together with field teams that deliver complete projects — from foundation works through to commissioning and handover.

MIG 23 employs more than 100 people — engineers and technicians qualified to Bulgarian and European standards. Since 2012 our design team has worked to a corporate standard using ePlan, ensuring that every project meets the technical requirements of the relevant electricity distribution or transmission operator.

The equipment we manufacture carries the CE marking in accordance with the applicable European directives and, before delivery, undergoes factory acceptance testing (FAT), the results of which we provide as part of the project documentation. To date we have delivered over 5,000 projects.

MIG 23 has carried out projects in Bulgaria, Macedonia, Serbia, Albania, Kosovo, and Ghana. We work in Bulgarian and English and provide technical documentation in both languages.

Certifications: our management systems are certified to ISO 9001:2015 (quality management), ISO 14001:2015 (environmental management), ISO 27001 (information security), OHSAS 18001:2007 (occupational health and safety), and SA 8000:2014 (social accountability).
